ICQUA 2022 / 2nd Iraqi-German Conference on Quality in Healthcare
After a long break of three years because of the pandemic (Covid-19), the second Iraqi German Conference on Quality in Healthcare Services / IGCQUA2022 – ICQUA2022 was organized in Cologne, Germany in November 2, 2022, in collaboration with Temos International. The conference addressed the challenges faced by the healthcare sector during the pandemic and the issues of patient and staff safety. We focused mainly on:
• Patient safety: hospital and patients’ perspective.
• The impact of Covid-19 pandemic on patient safety and the whole healthcare facility and staff.
• Iraqi experience on quality and patient safety improvement during the pandemic.
• How Temos Certificate can improve the situation.
• Patient Safety and Control of Acquired infection.
The event included presentations, discussion, group work and evaluation and feedback. The main speakers where:
Around 20 participants joined the event from Iraq and experience was shared with experts from Greece and Germany.
